and applications the industry has to offer.
-
If
you receive any notice that camera model, PDCHRC-V3AIDV, is
showing a blue tint, change the dip switch settings for AES to
off. This will allow adjustment of the AI lens to correct the
blue tint.
-
In most cases of hanging
a monitor to a wall, always make use of the wall studs. This way
you can get away with using #14X3” screws for the mount.
-
Take the time to tie
wrap your cords and cables as you go. It will make for a more
organized and neater install. It also looks more professional.
-
If you are installing
cameras on concrete or brick, try using Tapcon’s or Phillip’s
concrete screws. The bits for these are small and usually do a
good job on exterior camera mounts.
-
When doing an install
with unfamiliar equipment, try to have it on hand a few days
prior to the install. The install will go much smoother if you
have had time to read over the manuals and familiarized yourself
with the equipment.
-
When installing interior
cameras, try to make your exposed cable runs as short as
possible. This will allow the visibility of the wires to be
minimal making for a neater, more professional job.
-
Remember you may be the
one to come back and troubleshoot any problems so make it easier
by keeping it neat and professional.
-
When
backing up data from the CF DVR, preview the material first.
This way you know it is available and it makes for an easier
download.
